Modern Slavery Statement

Our Commitment

Corker is a family business, built on long-standing relationships, trust and doing the right thing – even when no one is watching. We believe that how products are made, sourced and supplied matters just as much as how they perform.

We have zero tolerance for modern slavery, forced labour or human trafficking in any form. While the nature of our business means the risk within our own operations is low, we recognise that exploitation can exist within wider supply chains, often hidden from view. We take this responsibility seriously and are committed to remaining vigilant, honest and proactive.

Our Business & Supply Chain

Corker designs and supplies products for the built and landscaped environment, working with a network of trusted suppliers in the UK and overseas.

We favour long-term relationships over transactional ones. Many of our suppliers have worked with us for years, built on mutual respect, transparency and shared standards. We choose partners carefully and expect them to treat people fairly, lawfully and with dignity, regardless of where they operate.

We understand that no supply chain is without risk, but we believe genuine relationships, open conversation and accountability are the most effective tools for preventing harm.

Our Values in Practice

Our approach to modern slavery is rooted in our wider values:

  • Respect for people at every stage of a product’s journey
  • Fairness, honesty and transparency in how we do business
  • Responsibility for the impact of our decisions beyond our own walls
  • A willingness to challenge practices that do not align with our standards

These values guide how we select suppliers, how we work with them, and how we respond if concerns arise.

Due Diligence & Risk Awareness

We take a practical and proportionate approach to understanding and managing risk, appropriate to the size and nature of our business. This includes:

  • Considering geographic and sector-related risks when working with suppliers
  • Encouraging openness around working conditions and employment practices
  • Maintaining regular dialogue with key suppliers rather than relying solely on paperwork
  • Taking concerns seriously and addressing them promptly and responsibly

Where expectations are not met, we are prepared to challenge, support improvement or, where necessary, step away.

Awareness & Responsibility

Those involved in purchasing and supplier relationships are encouraged to stay aware of the risks of modern slavery and to raise concerns if something does not feel right. We believe responsibility does not sit with policies alone, but with people making thoughtful decisions every day.

Looking Forward

As a family business, we think in generations, not reporting cycles. We are committed to continually strengthening our understanding of our supply chain, improving transparency and responding to evolving best practice.

This statement reflects our belief that responsible business is built on care for people, integrity in action and accountability for the wider impact of what we do.
