Our Sourcing Principles
Our products complete a natural cycle that mimics the way
resources flow in nature:
Our Responsibility
We prioritize renewable, recycled, and sustainably harvested materials across our entire product range. From FSC-certified timber to recycled green waste, we select materials that minimise environmental impact without compromising on quality.
Ethical Labor Practices
We work with suppliers who ensure fair wages and safe working conditions for everyone involved in creating our products. We believe that sustainable products should support sustainable livelihoods too.
Supply Chain Transparency
We track our materials from source to customer, ensuring accountability at every stage. This attention to detail allows us to stand behind every product with confidence and provide our customers with clear information about their purchases.
Supplier Certifications
Look out for our supplier certification on product pages
FSC Certified The Forest Stewardship Council certification ensures our timber products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits. Look for the FSC logo on our wood products.
PEFC Certified The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification supports sustainable forestry practices globally, working with local organizations to ensure forests are managed responsibly.
PAS 100 Certified This certification for our compost products ensures they meet strict quality standards, are safe to use, and deliver consistent results in your garden.
Ethical Stone Register Our natural stone products are sourced from suppliers registered with this program, ensuring ethical practices in quarrying and processing.
BS3882:2015 Certified BS3882:2015 is the British Standard specification for topsoil that is moved or traded, setting out requirements for its physical and chemical properties, including texture, pH, nutrient content, organic matter, and contaminant levels, to ensure it is fit for purpose.
Looking Ahead Over time, we intend to bring our environmental practices into closer alignment with ISO 14001. This isn’t about adding a badge, but about giving clearer shape to the way we already work — with care, consistency, and a commitment to steady improvement.
