Our Recycling Initiatives

Recycling is part of how we operate day to day

Across our business, we focus on reducing waste, recovering useful materials and
managing resources responsibly. Our recycling initiatives are not standalone projects
or short-term campaigns, they are practical systems embedded into how materials
are handled, processed and reused within our operations.
This approach supports circular use, reduces unnecessary disposal and helps ensure
materials are managed thoughtfully from arrival through to end of life.

Green Waste Recycling

Organic waste generated through our operations is recovered and processed
wherever possible. Green waste materials are separated and managed so they can
be composted or reintroduced into natural systems, returning organic matter and
nutrients back to land rather than being sent to landfill.

Timber & By-Product Recovery

Where timber or timber-based materials are used, we look for opportunities to
recover and reuse by-products. Off cuts, bark and other timber residues can often be
repurposed into useful materials rather than discarded.

Packaging Reduction & Reuse

Packaging plays an important role in protecting materials, but it also creates waste if
not managed carefully. We work to minimise unnecessary packaging, reuse materials
where practical and reduce reliance on single-use materials wherever suitable
alternatives exist.

Operational Waste Management

Across our sites, waste streams are separated, monitored and reviewed to improve
recovery rates and reduce landfill disposal.

The Impact of Everyday Choices

How materials are specified, supplied and used plays a role in how effectively they can
be recovered later. Choices around product selection, packaging formats and delivery
methods all influence waste outcomes

Looking Ahead

Our recycling initiatives will continue to evolve. As materials, systems and
expectations change, we will review and refine how waste is managed across our
operations.
