We also consider practical controls such as field management practices, cutting methods, handling, transport distances and freshness at the point of delivery.
Environmental Considerations
Environmental considerations for turf extend beyond production alone. Factors such as water use, soil health, transport distance and post-installation management all influence overall impact.
Where carbon capture or storage is referenced, this relates to the role of healthy turf and underlying soils in cycling carbon over time, rather than permanent sequestration or offsetting.
